Turtle Bay, also known as Bahia Tortugas was our first stop of the Baja Haha and our first stop in Mexico. If you are able to sail here, we definitely recommend it! After three overnights at sea, we were greeted with sea lions as we came into the bay. Over the next two days you could not look out at the water and not spot a sea lion or dolphin.

Cheers! We made it!

Dolphins galore!

This town is really into their baseball. Lots of kids showed up for a traditional game where anyone who wants to be on the field can, and anyone who wants to bat can. The rules are pretty loose, with the only thing being enforced was that the kids were never out.

The Baja Haha is known for their famous baseball game with the kids. We had the best out fielders ever!

It was a lot of fun walking through this small town. The people here were all so friendly. So were all the pets. Except for the cats, they would scurry away. But there isn't a such thing as a mean dog here.

There were a couple of restaurants on shore here. All excellent food with a great view. Below you can see all the Haha boats in the background.

The Haha committee put on beach party with BBQ, music and fun. We took the dinghy to shore to a beach that was several miles long. They had a few fun events going on, like a tug-o-war between the guys and gals.
